I'm an artist, scientist, engineer, and teacher, among other things.
I'm passionate about making ideas, objects, and systems that spark joy, curiosity, and enable new possibilities.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I studied fine arts at Fiorello H. LaGuardia. I then completed a double major in physics and mathematics at Northeastern University.
My professional work has spanned fields from nanophysics research, to additive manufacturing, to sensors and embedded devices, to childhood education.
My art and creativity is a thread that weaves through everything I do. Some of my primary forms of artistic exploration include making drawings, paintings, textiles, and wire sculptures.
I also enjoy making creative code things such as simulations, visualizations, and games.
As a teacher, I am passionate about integrating art, science, and math in engaging ways that spark curiosity and inquiry.
I built this webpage both to share my projects with the world, and to put into practice what I am learning as I teach myself web development.
Currently I am working on some art commissions and collaborations, teaching art classes, and making websites and games. If you’re looking for a math tutor, a mural painter, a web/game developer, or a manufacturing and fabrication specialist with an interdisciplinary approach to creative problem solving that is equal parts science and craft, I might just be your guy. Let’s connect!
